Betterview offers a number of different ways to connect. While this section provides the documentation for Betterview REST API, other core system integrations, an external data warehouse, and secure FTP are also available. Let's briefly discuss these different paths.

Betterview API

Betterview REST API is an insurance-specific API that allows access to a vast amount of data, including Nearmap RSI (Roof Spotlight Index), Peril Vulnerability Scores, and PartnerHub data graphs (third-party data) via the Property Insight and Property Now APIs. Along with the documentation, some simple to use examples are also available. To get started, check out the getting started page.

Core System Integrations

Betterview integrates with many of the major core systems like Guidewire, Duck Creek, and Socotra.

External Data Warehouse

Betterview offers an external data warehouse where you can get secure access to your data in Betterview via a direct SQL connection. Once activated, you can access data via SQL console, ETL flows, Tableau, PowerBI, or even Microsoft Excel.

Secure FTP

Betterview offers a secure FTP solution at files.betterview.net for delivery of orders/retrieval of results. The site offers all major secure FTP transports including FTPS and and SSH file transfer.

ImageRight

Betterview offers an external auto ImageRight population. All you need to do is provide us your ImageRight address and files can be dropped here directly.
